Illuminated Plumbing Fixtures helps people planning a bathroom, kitchen or laundry room put lighted fixtures where the electrical code allows them, with the marking and protection each one needs, before anything is bought or a wall is opened.
What it is not
- It sells no fixtures, links to no fixture shop and takes no affiliate money or money from any fixture maker or seller. Its public pages carry one labelled banner from AdEngine, the small ad network of WeldonPC, which runs this site; for now it shows WeldonPC's own services (see Privacy: Advertising).
- It is not an inspection, an electrician or legal advice. A licensed electrician and your local inspector decide what is allowed in your home.
- It is not the lighted-faucet maker that used this web address years ago; this site has no connection to that business and makes no products.
- It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NFPA. NFPA 70, National Electrical Code and NEC are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association.
Who runs it
The site is built and run by WeldonPC.com (WeldonPC, Garfield Heights, Ohio). The rules engine, the drawings and the guide were written for this site from the code sections listed on the sources page.
